Rebecca A. Sheehan,
Director of Client Services
Ms. Sheehan has a
vast business knowledge spanning
various industries, with particular focus given to Financial
Institutions. Prior to joining The Spofford Group, she
began her career as a Teller at US Trust where she was
later promoted to work closely with the Commercial
Lending Department. Ms. Sheehans duties during
her employment at US Trust included training and
mentoring new employees.
When Horizon Bank
& Trust Company was founded in
1998, Ms. Sheehan was asked to be a part of the initial
business launch team. During her employment at Horizon
Bank & Trust Company Ms. Sheehan worked as the
Head Teller and as a Customer Service Representative.
Since joining The
Spofford Group in 2000, Ms. Sheehan
has used her experience in banking to better assist Financial
Institution clients with their insurance issues and concerns.
Her responsibilities at The Spofford Group today include
client account management across multiple industries and
disciplines. Ms. Sheehan oversees negotiations with
underwriters and all client communication ranging from
updates regarding important coverage issues to contract
facilitation. Ms. Sheehan is also responsible for training
and supervising new employees to effectively deal with the
various clientele in the fields of Finance, Private Equity,
Health Care, Non-Profit and Technology.
A graduate of Wheaton
College, Ms. Sheehan earned her
B.A. in Social Psychology with a minor in Education.
